The fair-housing check

Why we flag some words, and how to fix them in one tap.

Real estate ads must follow the Fair Housing Act. We check every caption for words that describe who should live somewhere instead of the home itself.

Common examples:

  • "Perfect for young families" → describe the space instead
  • "Safe neighborhood" → "quiet, tree-lined street"
  • "Master bedroom" → "primary bedroom"

When we spot one, you'll see a yellow Fair-housing check box with a suggested rewrite. Tap Use it to swap it in.

The check catches common problems. It isn't legal advice, so ask your broker if you're unsure.
